Research Interests

Shivanand has done Bachelors in B.sc (Nursing) and completed Masters in Public Health (MPH).He has 2 years of teaching experience to nursing graduates and involved in ICMR project on HIV/AIDS among targeted groups, He also worked as WHO monitor for National pulse polio program in 2014 and completed internship at SANGATH organization under the project “Families of children with Autism (PASS+)”. His career started as Research officer at Indian institute of health management - Bangalore under the project ‘Mission against Malnutrition’, followed by as Research (site) coordinator at Sangath organization under PASS PLUS project an interventional study for the families of children with Autism, as project coordinator under “BEYOND BOUNDARIES” project in Sangath – Goa and as “Research Associate” in Trans-disciplinary University – Bengaluru under safe drinking water practice using copper device as SDWP. Currently he has enrolled for PhD in University of Transdisciplinary Health Sciences and Technology- Bengaluru. He has 4 years of working experience which comprises of 2 years teaching and 2 years of research under different projects
