Research Interests

Sarah is an Animal Population Ecologist at the NERC Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. Her research focuses on understanding how parasitism, migration and climate affect individual level fitness and population dynamics and on detecting and understanding how climate and habitat change is affecting communities of organisms and disease dynamics. She is currently working on understanding how migration strategy is linked with individual fitness during extreme climatic events in marine ecosystems, and on understanding how habitat change affects tick borne disease ecology in India.
