Research Interests
Mujeeb is a Research Associate at the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment where he is a member of the Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD) research team. He is specialized in rural development, and his research focuses on identifying methods required to turn rural areas into socio-economic empowered areas, and on improving the health and nutrition of the community by using ZOPP (Goal Oriented Project Planning), Participatory Rural Appraisal, and community mobilization.
For the social science component of our research project, Mujeeb works with KFD-affected communities. His responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of questionnaire, the conducting of household surveys, and the data translation and interpretation.
