Research Interests
Darshan is a Research associate at the ICMR-National Institute of Traditional Medicine, where he is a member of the Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD) research team. His area of specialisation involves disease surveillance and analysis using epidemiological modelling tools, GIS tools and spatial statistics. He is currently working on mapping of historical geographical patterns in human cases of KFD with environmental patterns in India. His responsibilities include designing the field data collection protocols, supervision of data collection, management and laboratory analysis.
