Bhimanagoud Kumbar

Bhimanagoud Kumbar is Research Associate at Dr S L Hoti’s lab at the ICMR-National Institute of Traditional Medicine in Belagavi, Karnataka. He has >6 years of experience in Molecular Biology and well versed with broad range of molecular techniques. He is also familiar with bioinformatic tools, rDNA technology and also has expertise in entomology. His involvement in this project is to collect and analysis of Kyasanur Forest Disease Virus (KFDV) data, development of diagnostic methods, and bioinformatic analysis of nucleic acid sequence data. Also, optimization of PCR and qRT-PCR protocols for Kyasanur Forest Disease Virus (KFDV) detection and molecular level identification of KFD virus.
